Spruce Up is hiring interior design professionals as personal stylists!

Spruce Up is a one-to-one personalized shopping experience for all things home & design. Spruce Up’s mission is to create a smarter way to design and shop for your home: with the help of data science and personal stylist we provide hand curated product recommendations and make people’s lives easier and their homes beautiful.

Spruce Up is well funded start-up backed by premier VCs in NYC, Silicon Valley and Seattle and rapidly growing our early start-up team. Spruce Up Stylists are passionate about design, and they thrive on building genuine relationships with their clients to deliver a truly personalized service. They are natural trendsetters, with an exquisite eye for designing homes that are unique and a reflection of their client’s lifestyle, budgets and needs.

This role is based in Greater Seattle, WA, San Francisco – Bay Area, CA or Greater New York, NY and you commit to 10 to 40 hours per week.

Our stylists are close-knit community who love the flexibility to set a work schedule that fits their lifestyle working from home or the nearest coffee shop. As employees of Spruce Up, our Stylists stay connected through ongoing training and company sponsored events. Our stylists enjoy access to state of the art designer tools, style prediction algorithms and library of products from hottest brands and leading retailers, to curate designer looks that inspire our customers to make confident choices and create a beautiful home they love.

Experience

  • Degree and/or experience working in interior design, staging or merchandising and a digital portfolio showing your skills as a designer or stylist.

  • Demonstrated client management skills with excellent time management and track-record of customer testimonials.

  • Passionate. You are driven by passion to be innovative in the home & design industry creating a new, personalized way of shopping for home furnishing and decor.

  • Natural promoter: your social media presence shows off your status as a tastemaker in interior design and home styling.

  • Tech savvy with a pulse on the latest tools and online experiences. You love being entrepreneurial and working within a start-up environment with ability to test and learn with customers and within the market.
